SFIG to Submit Credit Risk Retention Comment Letter to Regulators
On October 30, 2013, SFIG will be submitting a comment letter to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Treasury Department, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Housing Finance Agency, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development on their Notice of Proposed Rulemaking published in the Federal Register on September 20, 2013 regarding credit risk retention. The letter will reflect the perspectives of our full membership, which includes sponsors of structured finance products, investors, financial intermediaries, rating agencies and other market participants.
