SFIG Participating in ARRC Roundtable in NYC
The Federal Reserve Bank of New York has invited SFIG, along with LSTA, CREFC, and SIFMA, to speak on a panel at the Alternative Reference Rates Committee Roundtable (ARRC) on Thursday, November 2nd at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

The event will cover both the work of the ARRC to date, including its recent recommendation of the Secured Overnight Financing Rate (SOFR) as a robust alternative rate to U.S. dollar LIBOR, and details of its paced transition plan. Additionally, the roundtable will address the new work that has been initiated following the recent speech by Andrew Bailey, Chief Executive Officer of the United Kingdom's Financial Conduct Authority, highlighting the risks around LIBOR. Representatives of both ARRC and non-ARRC member firms will discuss how these risks may impact not only the interest rate derivatives market, but also a wide range of other financial products and markets.

Event information can be found here, and anyone interested in registering for the event may do so by emailing arrc@ny.frb.org.
