SFIG Delegation Plays Significant Role at Annual CSF Conference in Beijing

This week, a delegation consisting of several SFIG members and staff attended the 2017 Annual Conference of the China Securitization Forum (“CSF”) in Beijing. The delegation played a significant role at the conference, with SFIG represented on a wide variety of panels.

SFIG also presented the recently published white paper Applying blockchain in securitization: opportunities for reinvention, as well as hosted a panel discussion on "Roadmap for Application of Blockchain Technology in Securitization." In addition, SFIG members and staff participated in various other panels throughout the conference, including:

  • The Overview of SFIG's A Comprehensive Guide to U.S. Securitization: The History and Operation of Global Securitization
  • Transparencies in Rating Methodologies and Asset Collateral of Securitized Products
  • The Importance of Securitization in the Real Economy
  • Evolution of the Leveraged Loan Market in the U.S. and Lessons for the Chinese Market
  • Chinese Asset Securitization under the International Convergence
  • The Investment Strategy towards Overseas CLO
  • Compare Market Place Lending in the U.S. and China: Legal and Accounting

SFIG also held meetings with a number of local regulators including National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors, the People's Bank of China, and the China Banking Regulatory Commission.
