January 30, 2014 Alert - SEC to Consider Adoption of Regulation AB II on February 5th, 2014
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced that it will hold an Open Meeting on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 3:00 p.m.

Included among the agenda items is a vote on Regulation AB II:

“The Commission will consider whether to adopt rules revising the disclosure, reporting, and offering process for asset-backed securities. The revisions would require asset-backed issuers to provide enhanced disclosures including information for certain asset classes about each asset in the underlying pool in a standardized, tagged format and revise the shelf offering process and eligibility criteria for asset-backed securities.”

Please see the Sunshine Act Notice for more details.

SFIG will provide a summary update to the full membership on February 5, with a more detailed analysis to be distributed in the following days. SFIG will also convene the Regulation AB II taskforce and begin to arrange asset class calls. We will then follow up with a detailed project plan. Please contact Alyssa Acevedo at Alyssa.Acevedo@sfindustry.org if you would like to participate in the Regulation AB II task force, stipulating specific asset classes of interest.
