Say Hello to Our New Staff Members!

We are excited to announce the addition of two new members of staff to our SFIG team! Please help us welcome Dallin Merrill and Michael Williams!

Dallin Merrill will join SFIG as a Manager, MBS Policy on December 14, 2016, reporting directly to the Director of Mortgage Policy, Dan Goodwin.

Prior to joining SFIG, Dallin was a Senior Congressional Affairs Specialist at the Federal Housing Finance Agency, where he covered issues related to housing finance, banking, and financial services. He came to Washington D.C. as a Presidential Management Fellow in 2010. As part of that fellowship, he worked as a Legislative Attorney in the Office of Legislative Affairs at the United States Department of Justice Office. Dallin earned his J.D. with an emphasis in tax policy from Saint Louis University, and a B.A. in Humanities from Brigham Young University.

Michael Williams will join SFIG on December 12, 2016 as an Analyst, ABS Policy, reporting directly to the Senior Director of ABS Policy, Sairah Burki.

Michael is a recent graduate of Colgate University, where he earned his BA in Political Science and Economics. While working towards completing his degree, he spent the majority of his off-time interning in New York’s financial district. As a summer analyst, he worked directly with buy-side and sell-side parties on different aspects of the securitization market, including research, trading, and surveillance. In addition, he is a former collegiate student athlete and before coming to SFIG, Michael worked as a regulatory affairs associate fellow for BP in Washington, D.C.
