FRB Chairman’s First Testimony Date Set

According to a report in Bloomberg, Federal Reserve Board (FRB) Chairman Jerome Powell will provide his first, semi-annual testimony on monetary policy and the economy to Congress during a House Financial Services Committee hearing on Wednesday, February 28th at 10:00 am ET. In tandem with his testimony, the FRB will also publish its Monetary Policy Report, which tends to be a primary focus of Congressional questioning.
