Front Office Receptionist

SFIG is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual who enjoys being part of a team to be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative needs of the SFIG staff as the Office Receptionist. Successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills. You will be fully engaged from your first day, and we guarantee that there will never be a dull moment.

Administrative Assistant

SFIG is seeking an efficient, organized and motivated individual with a history of exceptional performance to support the Executive Director and SFIG Management Team. The Administrative Assistant is a high-impact position within the SFIG team, working directly with Executive Management, the Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, and key members of SFIG’s membership. The successful candidate will possess the necessary skills to react with appropriate urgency to situations that require quick turnaround, take effective action, and proactively solve complex problems. A keen attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously is required. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to have a “roll your sleeves up” attitude and support various additional operational needs across the organization.

HR Generalist

SFIG is seeking an experienced HR Generalist who will assist in providing a wide range of HR support and advice. The successful candidate will play a key role in the organization by managing the recruitment, screening, interviewing and placement of candidates, as well as the onboarding, off boarding, training, and development of staff. In addition to providing a wide range of HR support and advice, the candidate will also offer guidance on performance management and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between staff and senior management.

Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk will be an integral member of SFIG staff, with responsibility for many accounting and finance-related functions. Under the supervision of the Company Accountant, this role will provide support for accounting operations of SFIG, SFIG Foundation and SF Coalition. The Accounting Clerk will be accountable for providing timely and accurate processing of all day-to-day revenue and expenses as well as proactively identifying issues with vendor payments or delinquent customer accounts. Additionally, this seat will be required to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer and vendor profiles. Serving as a key member under the administrative team, the Accounting Clerk will work closely with the firm’s executives, staff, and the company’s external customers and vendors; therefore, the successful candidate must possess strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills. A keen attention to detail is also a key requirement, as the Accounting Clerk will be responsible for entering/receiving customer and vendor payments. This role qualifies for the work experience portion of CPA requirements.

Political Action Committee (PAC) Manager

Reporting to the Head of Government Relations, the Political Action Committee (PAC) Manager will be an integral member of the SFIG staff, overseeing all aspects of SFIG’s PAC and the Structured Finance Coalition (SFC), including administration, compliance, fundraising and participation goals, and operating the budget disbursement process to maximize political support and strategic impact. This role will also oversee and ensure all PAC efforts and events remain in compliance with all federal lobby laws. The ideal candidate is one who has experience fundraising for political action committees, as well as familiarity with grassroots programs and communications.

Director of Government Relations

Reporting to the Head of Government Relations, the Director will be an integral member of the SFIG staff, acting as second-in-command for the association’s government relations and advocacy efforts. The successful candidate will design and execute advocacy strategies for SFIG’s policy priorities. The Director will also support SFIG’s advocacy efforts through development and growth of its Political Action Committee (PAC).

Education Manager

The Education Manager is responsible for the development and execution of robust content for SFIG’s in-person and online educational programs. The successful candidate will be expected to partner effectively with both SFIG’s staff and membership on the delivery of professional and consistent product across programs. The Education Manager will serve as a vital link between policy, events, education, and membership. Candidates will be expected to develop a substantial online educational presence by utilizing existing educational and conference panel materials, and to partner with the Digital Media and Marketing Manager to select, develop, and populate a Content Management System (CMS) specifically dedicated to online learning. Candidates will also be expected to expand existing educational and developmental events and programs, including SFIG’s Women in Securitization events, evening Symposia, and various webinars. Candidates must be comfortable establishing and refining process and managing deadlines. The candidate will be handling multiple projects at once, and must be able to deal with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities. Candidate must be able to work successfully as an individual contributor within a team environment.
