Government Relations Manager

Reporting to the Head of Government Relations, the Manager will be an important member of the SFIG staff, working to promote the association’s government relations and advocacy efforts across the organization. The successful candidate will help design and execute advocacy strategies for SFIG’s policy priorities. The Manager will also support SFIG’s advocacy efforts through the development and growth of its Structured Finance Coalition “SFC" and Structured Finance Political Action Committee "SF PAC."

Human Resources Generalist

SFIG is seeking an experienced HR Generalist who will lead the HR function and core enabling processes for the organization. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the organization, both as a standard bearer for a culture of inclusion, collaboration and high performance, as well as an operational leader ensuring performance and compensation management, recruiting, on-boarding and employee relations processes are sound and effectively employed by managers and employees throughout the organization. Lastly, the ideal candidate will provide objective and balanced advice and counsel to the CEO, COO, Divisional Directors, and employees on HR and Employee Relations matters.

Marketing and Events Intern

The Marketing and Events Intern will assist in the planning and coordination of a variety of SFIG Events, with a primary focus on SFIG Vegas 2019, but the opportunity to assist with programs such as the SFIG Foundation Dinner, Women In Securitization year-end networking event, and SFIG Canada. The intern will work independently and receive projects from multiple team members, so he or she will need to be organized, flexible, and able to prioritize tasks. The intern will be an integral part of the team, providing our staff with hands-on support, specifically with exhibit booth set-up, registration and name tag distribution, sponsor management, and general event logistics. This comprehensive event internship will conclude with an on-site conference experience at the Aria Resort & Casino located in Las Vegas, NV, from Thursday, February 22 to Thursday, February 28, 2019. Internship Duration and Hours: • Will conclude Thursday, February 28, 2019 • The intern(s) will be expected to work 15-20 hours/week between Monday and Friday, flexible schedules will be considered. Overtime hours may apply, including some weekends.
