Marketing & Sponsorship Assistant

The Marketing & Sponsorship Assistant will be an integral member of the SFIG Conferences and Events team, and will be responsible for supporting the team from inception through execution of SFIG’s robust educational and events offerings, including conferences, symposia, SFIG’s WiS (Women in Securitization) program, and the SFIG Industry Dinner. Although the primary responsibility will be to support the Events and Conferences team, the individual will need to operate in a team environment while independently managing other initiatives. The role requires a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as professionalism in dealing with executives both inside and outside the company. The successful candidate will possess the necessary skills to react with appropriate urgency to situations that require quick turnaround, take effective action, and proactively solve complex problems. A keen attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously is required. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to have a “roll your sleeves up” attitude and support various additional operational needs across the organization.

Events Manager

The Events Manager will be an integral member of the SFIG Conferences and Events team. The Events Manager is responsible for managing the full scope of the planning and execution process for events supporting SFIG’s education mandate, including SFIG conferences and symposia, SFIG’s WiS (Women in Securitization) program, the SFIG Industry Dinner, and various other SFIG Programs. The role will work closely with our management team to produce events from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will be able to plan, resource and oversee events that align with the intended goals and expectations of the SFIG membership base. The abilities to multitask and prioritize are essential, as this role involves liaising with internal staff, external membership, and third party vendors while meeting concurrent deadlines.

Education Manager

The Education Manager is responsible for the development and execution of robust content for SFIG’s in-person and online educational programs. The successful candidate will be expected to partner effectively with both SFIG’s staff and membership on the delivery of professional and consistent product across programs. The Education Manager will serve as a vital link between policy, events, education and membership. Candidates will be expected to develop a substantial online educational presence by utilizing existing educational and conference panel materials, and to partner with the Website & Marketing Content Senior Analyst to select, develop, and populate a Content Management System (CMS) specifically dedicated to online learning. Candidates will also be expected to expand existing educational and developmental events and programs, including SFIG’s Women in Securitization events, evening Symposia, and various webinars. Candidates must be comfortable establishing and refining process and managing deadlines. The candidate will be handling multiple projects at once, and must be able to deal with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities. Candidate must be able to work successfully as an individual contributor within a team environment.

Research Analyst

The Research Analyst will be an integral member of SFIG staff, providing support to senior staff and other team members. The successful candidate will help support group-wide policy and advocacy initiatives by the provision of both ad-hoc and standardized analytical reports, and will have overall responsibility for implementing and managing the company’s membership databases, which include a specific membership module, a political action committee (“PAC”) module and a charitable foundation.
