SFIG is pleased to announce the 2018 Residential Mortgage Finance Symposium, exploring the intersection of private capital and government sponsored entities in the Residential Mortgage Market. Following last year’s sell-out conference with over 1200 registrants, SFIG is thrilled to expand the program to a full two days of RMBS content. The conference will also feature over 20 one-on-one meeting rooms to provide top sponsors the opportunity to meet with attendees. The Symposium will encompass the entire spectrum of the mortgage finance market: Non-Performing & Re-Performing Loans, Mortgage Servicing Rights, Credit Risk Transfer transactions, and Private Label Securitizations, as well as updating work on RMBS 3.0 standardization and best practices.

Join policy makers, regulators, investors, issuers, and service providers as we try to answer the biggest questions facing today's markets, including:

  • What will accelerate the expansion of private capital’s role in funding the housing market?
  • What changes to the GSEs should we expect under new FHFA manager?
  • Is the recent increase in non-agency issuance the early signs of a sustained resurgence?
  • How is tightening supply impacting RPL/NPL issuance?
  • Is capital relief a viable route for private-label CRT?

The conference will showcase 4 concurrent tracks, enabling participants to choose from variety of sessions that best fit their needs. Participants and panelists will probe the business models and operating strategies of these intersecting asset classes, dive into their short and long term funding strategies, examine operational, legal and regulatory risks to their business models, and understand how technology is reshaping the business landscape. For more information on sponsorship opportunities, please contact Brittany Hinca at events@sfindustry.org or 202-524-6300. Registration is forthcoming and will be announced at a later date.
