Michael joined SFIG on December 12, 2016 as an Analyst, ABS Policy, reporting directly to the Senior Director of ABS Policy, Sairah Burki.
Michael is a recent graduate of Colgate University, where he earned his BA in Political Science and Economics. While working towards completing his degree, Michael spent the majority of his off-time, away from his native Louisiana, interning in New York’s financial services district. As a summer analyst, he worked directly with buy-side and sell-side parties on different aspects of the securitization market, including research, trading, and surveillance. In addition, he is a former collegiate student athlete and before coming to SFIG, Michael worked as a regulatory affairs associate fellow for BP in Washington, D.C.
